#11 Wioleta Wieckowska

From 3 years old, Wioleta has been involved with Hippotherapy Foundation for Disabled Children Rehabilitation. Primarily, she has been a charge of Foundation for a long time, currently, she manages promotion strategy and social community. Furthermore, she is studying Applied Psychology at Jagiellonian University in Cracow. Wioleta as a child has been diagnosed with the genetic disorder, spinal muscular atrophy SMA type III, nevertheless her disability doesn’t interrupt in living an active life and realizing her dreams. Thus, she was “the main face” on first project “Fashion without limits”, later she has worked as a coordinator in next stages of this project. In 2015 Wioleta has been a finalist LadyD Małopolski, and in 2016 during the summer season, she achieved the first award on Miss Wheelchair Poland competition. Moreover, she took part in international workshops in Strasbourg, France in autumn 2016. These workshops were connected with inclusion, disability and children’s rights. Her success is also being an executive editor of a magazine for children “High Five to your handless friend”, which was released by Hippotherapy Foundation and DrOmnibus company, in the preparations of campaigns “Equal inequalities”.

Wioleta is the author of many articles about disability, therapies and new technologies on DrOmnibus company’s parenting blog. In her free time, she is a photomodel and a huge fan of computer graphics. Wioleta says about herself that she is positively twisted with a head full of ideas, a little bit crazy and eternally has a pleasant smile on her face.
